reflective writing

i enjoyed this trip to the national gallery because i hadn't looked at old paintings for a while so it was refreshing to see some in person. i hadn't been to the national gallery in ages so i forgot how good of a resource for ideas it was. i couldn't see all the paintings i wanted to on the trip with other people so i went back the next day by myself. this was a lot better because i could look at each painting with no pressure and think about it more. the paintings i choose to look at are aa mixture of ones from the list, and ones I chose myself. i took pictures and did some quick sketches to draw from in my sketchbook experiments.
